Allergies

Seth had some food allergy testing done last month and we met with his doctor this week to find out what the results were. Well, it came back that he has allergies to milk, eggs, gluten, wheat, soy and some mild allergies to beef, peanuts, almonds and a couple other less common things. It was very exciting to know more about what has been one of the things causing him problems for so long But at the same time it is a bit overwhelming to find out how much we will need to change his diet. We went shopping yesterday and found the gluten free section of Fred Myer to be helpful but of course 3 times as expensive as anything else. We are looking at this as an adventure and look forward to learn all we can.

PROM

OK so it should have happened over 15 years ago for me. But since it never did, when I won tickets to the "Adult Prom" from a local radio station we decided it would be fun. We got all dressed up on Saturday night, took pictures and headed for the prom. It was held downtown and we saw some very interesting people of all ages there. We had a great time! We ate dinner and danced to favorites like Stayin' Alive, Macarena, Earth Angel and more. I finally got to see those moves that everyone had told me Seth has on the dance floor.

Here we go.........

Seth and I decided we would join the world of bloggers. We don't have cute kids to post on our blog but are grateful for each other. In June we will celebrate our 3rd anniversary. We have been very blessed over this time. Right now we are begining the process of adoption. We are very excited about this process and are grateful for family and friends with experience to guide us through.
