Friday, on my birthday, I received a willow tree statue from my wonderful friend Brittney. It is called "The gift" and is a man and woman standing together holding a baby. When I opened it Seth and I got emotional as we talked about the journey we have been on for the past few years. We were devastated when we lost Alexis and didn't know if we would be able to bring a life into this world. This pregnancy has been stressful (5 trips to the hospital, an extra two night stay the week before she was born, high blood pressure and bed rest). However, every minute was worth this beautiful little miracle. During this time Seth and I have realized how many wonderful people we have in our lives as they have reached out with their love, prayers and support. We are truly grateful to everyone for their prayers.

Thanks for sharing pictures of your little miracle. She is truly precious and I'm so happy that she has come to your home. I can not get over that strawberry blonde hair...so so cute! And her name is adorable. Congratulations! I hope to be able to meet that little girl someday soon. Lots of love!
