July Vacation

My parents rented a home in Santa Cruz California for a week and we were able to spend severl days with nearly all of my family. We loved the cool weather, walks along the coast, lazy days at the beach, camp fire onthe beach, and just being together. Avery especially loved playing with her cousins. It was just fun to be together. We were even so proud of Avery for doing well on the long drvie.

After our time in Santa Cruz we traveled to Salt Lake for a few days. Seth and I were able to attend a dinner celebrating my 10 year anniversary at the bank, it is hard to belive it has been that long. We also got to visit with Seth's parents, sister Kara and her family and my Grandma Dove and Aunt Lucinda and her family. One of the highlights were the couple hours we spend on Temple Square Sunday morning. It was a great time! Below are some of our favorite pictures from the trip.

Family pictures on the coastMy mom wanted a picture of all the grandkids. It wasn't easy to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time. Fortunatly Jen got a couple good shots on her camera.

After the trama on the carosel at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. I stood right by her and held her while she road the horse and cried the entire time!

I'm so glad you got to spend some time in Cali! I hope Avery didn't eat too much sand...that's what we have to prevent McKay from doing. I loved seeing all of Avery's cousins. So cute!

She is actually obsessed with throwing the sand. Last weekend and Seth's family's reunion her hair was full of it.
